Blogging about the official website of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Philippines is a must for me. That is because many Pinoys are still making a mistake trying to visit other sites even if they are not the real one. Here’s a clue in knowing which is which. First off, since the LTO is a government agency, then by common sense if you have ever been to a search of any government site, the URL or web address should always be with a URL extension of .gov.ph.
In view of helping Pinoys easily know what the real website is, here is a short post trying to reveal the information.
The LTO website is http://www.lto.gov.ph/. Using the online address in blue highlight will definitely and 100% lead you to the right place to find different relevant information. On the other hand, for others to know it outright, I have also put the same URL in the title of this post so as Filipinos won’t have a hard time knowing.
I hope with this post that I may be able to help others find the right place with which they can make an inquiry of their driver’s license application, student permit validation, fees to pay for license, car registration and renewal and new application of license.

Sirs/ Madam,
Greetings! I’m writing you this letter because it is been very alarming with what I’ve experienced with Cebu City Licensing Center this day. The following are it’s narrative:
O/a 1000H 15 July 2016, I applied for the duplication of my driver’s license (ie with attached Affidavit of Loss). It took them two ( 2 ) hours or at around 1200H, to initially process the applicants with numbers 91-125 (ie to which I am included). This initial process encompassed the submission of documents to the Duty Guard, which will be then be subjected for evaluation.
After another two hours or so of waiting, my name was finally called to pay the amount of P 472.00 at Counter 6. One of the applicant/client asked for a receipt, but the Cashier uttered that the OR will be given as your name was again been called at Cashier 7.
Likewise, it’s been so many times I’ve inquired on the status of my OR.(ie Desk Officer and personnel of Counter 7). The personnel of Counter 7 stated and confirmed that my name was not yet been called and I have to wait again and again (even if it’s six hours?). My suspicions aroused and it’s been really unusual that other numbers beyond mine were the first one to finish. Fortunately, one of the concerned LTO personnel revealed that somebody has already received my OR, “WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE AND WITHOUT MY NAME BEING CALLED,” and even knowing who took it. But I am certain that my name was not called because the whole time, I was just inside their waiting area who patiently, patiently and patiently waited.
With such incident, I did maintain my composure and asked somebody for whom will I address this mishap or concern. The LTO head entertained me. At our conversation, I found out that there were same incidents happened from the past. And to appease me, the LTO head said that my first OR will be cancelled and he already paid my new OR. But do we have to wait for another incident to happen?
In simple sense sir/mam, my license and my identity may be used by deviant persons. May I inquired, “Who will be then responsible with this mishap? Was there a possibility of inside job sir/mam?

Kindly check MOA area especially on Weekends. Karamihan ng taxi doon ay nangongontrata. Ayaw nila magsakay kung hindi naayon sa pamasahe na gusto nila. Paikot ikot lang sila sa Mall hangang may pumayag sa presyo nila. Walang choice ang ibang mga pasahero kundi pumayag nalang sa rates nila na pagkataas taas. Mas preferred din nila mga foreigner, napansin ko rin. Mas nakakarami sila pag yun ang pasahero nila. Tulong po kawawa naman mga commuters..

I would like to inquire about the plate number of our motorcycle, since we bought this in motortrade balanga last 2014, plate number has not been issued. The front seat can only accommodate 1 passenger, meaning its only 1 seater but the driver had 1 passenger sit beside me at the front seat which was very uncomfortable, also with my seatmate side because she wasn’t able to sit properly due to lack of space already.

THIS IS SERVES AS A CONTEST LETTER FOR APPREHENDING MY DELIVERY TRUCK BY MMDA TRAFFIC ENFORCER (T/O ELDHER M. BATES) WHICH OCCURRED ON JULY 14, 2016 AT COMMONWELATH AVE., LITEX, QUEZON CITY AT A EXACTLY THREE THIRTY IN THE AFTERNOON. THE MMDA TRAFFIC ENFORCER ISSUED AN ORDINANCE VIOLATION RECEIPT (OVR) TO MY DRIVER (ROLANDO DT. SANTOS) STATING THAT THE TRUCK DOES NOT HAVE AN AUTHORIZED PLATE TO TRAVEL AROUND METRO MANILATHERE IS NO REASON TO APPREHEND HIM BECAUSE THE UNIT WAS OFFICIALLY REGISTERED AT LTO-PAMPANGA – REGION 3, AND THAT WE ONLY HAVE A COPY OF ORCR.
THE PLATE IS STILL NOT YET AVAILABLE AT LTO PAMPANGA-REGION 3…
SO WHY APPREHEND?
PLS. MAKE ANA ACTION FOR THIS MATTER.
AND REQUESTING TO CANCELLED THE VIOLATION ISSUED TO MY DRIVER.

I have renewed my driver’s license before my birthday (April 8, 1962) last March 31, 2016 at LTO
Robinson’s Metro East but until now I have not received my driver’s license. I was told to call again next month/.
Can you please update us on this? It has been almost 5 months. There were those who were able to immediately get their drivers license.

hello everyone tanong ko lang po kung kailan magkaroon nag plastic card ang LTO kasi nag renew po ako nag non prof ko papel lang po kasi binigay sa akin as temporary license dito sa ibang bansa hindi po valid ito para ipa convert sa license mga kailan kaya magkaroon nag plastic card?

Pano po ba makakakuha ng bagong lisensya sir/maam kung ang dati mong lisensya ay na revoked dahil hindi mo po na bayaran yung violation fee, at kung makaka kuha man ulit sir/maam, kilangan pa bang bayaran ang dating violation bago ka makakuha ng lisensya kahit na revoked na? Almost 1 year na po akong dito sa Madrid Spain hangang ngaun di pa rin ako makakuha ng driver’s license at ito ang kailangan ko upang makapag trabaho ako dito sa abroad every 6 month akong nagpapa schedule simula Nov. 13, 2015 tapos sumonod April 13, 2016 at nito lng Oct. 13 2016 ay wala parin ang problema po kapag ni research nila sa internet wala daw pong response ang inyong office please lng po kung puede send nyo sa email ko un records ko po dyan para madala ko po sa licensing dito po sa madrid.
