In case you didn’t know it, the branch of LTO in Cubao Quezon City is also the main office of Land Transportation Office in NCR (National Capital Region). IF you need anything which is a bit sensitive, you can always come over to this agency branch of the Philippine government. Special cases are entertained here but as usual, be careful of fixers, they may have the uniforms of the agency but inside that uniform is a somebody else.

Kung nawala na ang license mo ay ideclare mo na lang na lost… On the other hand, just to give you a tip based from my personal experience, driver’s license that is expired for 4 years ay pwede pa po irenew but you will have to pay for penalties incurred for being expired. I believe that I paid 250 per year as penalty. Isa pa, just to remind other too na mas madali na pong mag renew ng driver’s license ngayon. Punta lamang po sa mga malls like SM, Tutuban Divisoria, Robinsons Malls and other branches. This way ay makakaiwas pa kayo sa fixers. Just make sure na hindi pa expired ang lisensya ninyo kasi kung expired na po ay hindi na nila tatanggapin at pupunta na po kayo sa mga LTO branches mismo na malapit sa inyo or kung saan kayo nag apply ng mismong lisensya ninyo.
kung hndi po xpired ang license at nawala, affidavit of lost lng po ba ang klangang ipakita?? at khit saang branch po pwede?
Yes po, Mr. John. You will need an affidavit of loss at be sure to have it notarized po (notaryo) and tama po, kahit saang branch po pwede kahit sa mga malls…

Of course Allan, andun pa yun… Database po nila ay hindi nabubura. If you already lost your license, unahin mo muna ang kumuha ng affidavit of loss at ipanotary or notaryo mo sa nearest city hall sa inyo bago pumunta sa LTO branch or nearest office para magfile at mag declare ng lost license and from there you can now apply for a new one pero you will be obliged to retake the exam both actual and written yata. Not sure if it still works that way ngayon kasi back in 2011 ganyan din ang ginawa ko.

Ako po si Mr. Celoza, 36 taong gulang kasalukuyang nakatira sa Pilapila, Binangonan Rizal. Nais ko lang pong malaman kung magkano po talaga ang penalty pagnahuli na unregistered vehicle, 4,800 po kasi ang hiningi sa akin.

Any nearest renewal centers, kiosk or LTO branch ay pwede po kayo mag renew ng driver’s license, Ms. Lea Mangaoang. Ang huling renewal ko ay Php 75 pesos po per year ang penalty kapag na overdue na ang expiration ng inyong license. Ang mahirap po dyan ay you have to get through with the same process na po if you let your license expire kaya po sa ibang drivers dyan, mangyari po na irenew na po ang inyong lisensya bago pa po ito ma overdue expired. Kung hindi po kasi ay you will have to take both actual driving exam and the written exam na naman.
